About The Position
EP² provides complete power management systems for commercial and utility industries, supporting power generation, transmission, and distribution. The Quality Control Inspector supports the production team by inspecting panels and enclosures throughout the production process as they pass through the steel, paint, mounting, wiring, enclosures, and shipping departments. The position is located in Des Moines, Iowa, and reports to the Quality Control Supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read blueprints and exploded-view drawings.
- Ability to exercise common sense when making decisions.
- Working knowledge of quality assurance tools, methods, and concepts.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- College degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Perform routine inspections and quality tests.
- Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards and the customer’s bill of materials.
- Document product deficiencies and errors and confirm that corrections are made.
- Operate a manual hydraulic pallet jack.
