About The Position
EP² is seeking a Quality Control Inspector in Des Moines, Iowa, to inspect panels and enclosures throughout the production process across the steel, paint, mounting, wiring, enclosures, and shipping departments. The role supports the company’s quality assurance practices and helps ensure products meet quality standards and customer bills of materials. The position reports to the Quality Control Supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read blueprints and exploded-view drawings.
- Ability to exercise common sense when making decisions.
- Working knowledge of quality assurance tools, methods, and concepts.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- College degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Perform routine inspections and quality tests.
- Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards and the customer’s bill of materials.
- Document product deficiencies and errors and confirm that corrections are made.
- Operate a manual hydraulic pallet jack.
