Requirements

  • Experience as a Quality Control Inspector in a machining or manufacturing environment
  • Strong ability to read blueprints and use precision measurement tools
  • Familiarity with ISO 9000 or similar quality systems
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely
  • Excellent attention to detail, reliability, and communication skills
  • Willingness to work overtime or occasional Saturdays when needed

Responsibilities

  • Inspect machined parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision tools
  • Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to verify part compliance
  • Utilize CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) or comparable inspection equipment when applicable
  • Maintain accurate inspection reports and documentation
  • Collaborate with machinists and leadership to resolve quality concerns
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and adherence to ISO 9000 standards
