Requirements
- Experience as a Quality Control Inspector in a machining or manufacturing environment
- Strong ability to read blueprints and use precision measurement tools
- Familiarity with ISO 9000 or similar quality systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely
- Excellent attention to detail, reliability, and communication skills
- Willingness to work overtime or occasional Saturdays when needed
Responsibilities
- Inspect machined parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision tools
- Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to verify part compliance
- Utilize CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) or comparable inspection equipment when applicable
- Maintain accurate inspection reports and documentation
- Collaborate with machinists and leadership to resolve quality concerns
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and adherence to ISO 9000 standards
