About The Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to support inspection of welded components in a manufacturing/job shop setting. This is a hands-on position requiring work on the production floor and regular interaction with fabrication teams.
Requirements
- Experience inspecting welded products in a QC role
- Knowledge of visual weld inspection standards and acceptance criteria
- Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing instructions
- Comfortable working in a physical, industrial environment
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- CWI certification or related experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Inspect welded parts and assemblies for quality and conformance
- Review weld appearance, fit-up, and overall workmanship against drawings and specifications
- Identify defects and communicate quality concerns to production personnel
- Use inspection tools such as calipers, tape measures, and weld gauges
- Perform in-process and final inspections in a fast-paced shop environment
