About The Position

Hadco Metal, a growing distributor of semi-finished metals and engineered plastics, is seeking 2 Quality Inspectors for its large production and distribution facility in Bensalem, PA. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for receiving, processing, and ensuring the quality of incoming material and outgoing products. This role requires strong math and measuring capabilities, proficiency with tools like micrometers and calipers, and meticulous attention to detail for data entry into the company's ERP system.

Requirements

Minimum two years’ work experience in a manufacturing environment in a quality inspection role.
Strong basic math skills and sound knowledge of measuring equipment such as micrometers and/or calipers.
Ability to manage certification paperwork and accurately enter information into company computer ERP system.
Must have a “can-do" attitude and willingness to commit to the integrity and growth of Hadco Metals.
Ability to work in a team in a fast-paced environment that requires fast reaction and agility.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Perform material inspections utilizing precision measuring tools such as micrometers/calipers.
Proactively and collaboratively work in our warehouse operations environment with employees and management.
Inspect the quality and acceptability of purchased materials by thorough examination of the component’s critical features, measuring dimensions and examining functionality with the use of the appropriate inspection tools.
Inspect work in process material and confirm First Article Inspections and perform Final Inspections of finished products prior to shipment.
Inspect materials to ensure compliance with company standards and customer requirements.
Participate and contribute to continuous improvement processes.
