The U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) sustains the Army’s mission to develop, acquire, field, and sustain ground combat, tactical, and support systems throughout their lifecycle. The program focuses on ensuring operational readiness, reliability, and safety of automotive and ground support equipment critical to Army operations. Under this contract, personnel provide maintenance, repair, overhaul, and sustainment support in accordance with Army technical manuals, safety standards, and performance requirements. The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspecting and verifying maintenance, repair, manufacturing, and logistics activities to ensure compliance with applicable technical, safety, and quality standards. This role evaluates work performed on TACOM‑managed systems and equipment, identifies deficiencies, and ensures corrective actions are completed before acceptance. The inspector will review a combination of mechanical, electrical, structural, and/or material handling work as applicable. This position is contingent upon award.
