About The Position

Volt is immediately hiring for a 1st Shift Quality Control Inspector - Warehouse Returns in Toano, VA. This is a full-time opportunity with a weekly pay schedule and a great company culture. The role involves inspecting returned inventory and customer returns for quality and accuracy, verifying details, identifying issues, sorting products, and maintaining accurate records. The inspector will also enter data into Excel and company systems, apply labels, organize inventory areas, and communicate quality issues to management. Support for general warehouse operations and adherence to safety and quality procedures are also expected.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to accurately count inventory and identify discrepancies
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform warehouse-related physical activities

Responsibilities

• Inspect returned inventory and customer returns for quality and accuracy
• Verify quantities, serial numbers, part numbers, and product condition
• Identify damaged, defective, missing, or incorrect items
• Sort products for restocking, reboxing, repair, or disposal
• Accurately count inventory and complete required documentation
• Enter inspection results into Excel and company systems
• Apply labels and maintain accurate product identification
• Organize and maintain returns inventory areas
• Communicate quality issues and discrepancies to management
• Support warehouse operations as needed
• Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures
