Requirements

High School Diploma or GED (required)
Prior experience in quality assurance/quality control or precision manufacturing preferred, but not required - an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
Strong attention to detail and comfort working with tight tolerances

Nice To Haves

Associate degree, technical/vocational training in quality or metrology, or an ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification is a plus
Familiarity with ISO quality standards and GMP practices is a plus

Responsibilities

Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of manufactured and purchased parts against engineering drawings and specifications
Use precision inspection equipment, including optical comparators, micrometers, calipers, and gages, to verify part conformance
Read blueprints and apply GD&T principles to determine acceptance criteria
Identify and segregate nonconforming material, and support the disposition process
Maintain accurate inspection records to support full lot and product traceability
Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to help resolve quality issues
