About The Position

The Quality Control Engineer role focuses on proactive quality process activities, continuously addressing and analyzing process quality issues to identify root causes and implement improvements. A key responsibility includes performing MIP PPAP activities in response to process 4M changes. Customer satisfaction is the primary objective for this role.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field.
Understanding of GD&T for machining drawings.
Ability to work harmoniously with relevant colleagues.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of ISO/TS 16949 and IATF 16949 requirements.
Skills in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Process Capability (Cpk).
Knowledge of Performance Management.
Proficiency in Problem Solving/Analysis.
Familiarity with Quality Core Tools: PFMEA, PPAP, SPC, APQP, MSA.
Understanding of general measuring equipment (Vernier Calipers, Micrometer, and Height Gauge).
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interface for problem resolution.
Must be a self-directed, results-driven individual capable of driving issues/problems to closure.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Serve as the engineer representative for Quality improvement within the Organization.
Collaborate with the team to resolve quality issues and enhance overall quality performance.
Act as a member of the plant management team, contributing to the development of plant goals.
Adhere to the guidelines and expectations set forth by MCA Policies and Procedures.
Work overtime during the week and on weekends as needed.
Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude, teamwork, and cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.
Track quality issues and manage data within G-MES (Global Manufacturing Execution System).
Process and perform HL Mando activity as part of HEE.
