About The Position
This role is responsible for quality control within the plywood manufacturing process. The successful candidate will possess strong technical and communication skills, be adept at mathematical calculations, and proficient in editing, proofreading, and report preparation.
Requirements
- College degree, or equivalent work experience in related job function.
- Strong technical skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in the use of various computer software programs including all MS Office applications.
Nice To Haves
- More than 5 years of experience in a related job function.
- Prior supervisory experience.
- Experience in plywood manufacturing or other wood products industry.
Responsibilities
- Understand and apply mathematical calculations and concepts involving fractions, decimals, percentages, etc.
- Edit and proofread written material to assist in composing the format and content of correspondence and technical documents.
- Apply proper punctuation, spelling, and grammar when proofreading.
- Research and prepare basic reports and correspondence in routine administrative areas.
