About The Position

This role is for a Quality Control Coordinator in the Plywood industry. The successful candidate will possess strong technical and communication skills, with the ability to understand and apply mathematical concepts, edit and proofread written material, and compose correspondence and technical documents. Proficiency in MS Office applications is also required.

Requirements

• College degree, or equivalent work experience in related job function.
• Strong technical skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to understand and apply mathematical calculations and concepts involving fractions, decimals, percentages, etc.
• Ability to edit and proofread written material to assist in composing the format and content of correspondence and technical documents.
• Ability to apply proper punctuation, spelling, and grammar when proofreading.
• Ability to research and prepare basic reports and correspondence in routine administrative areas.
• Proficiency in the use of various computer software programs including all MS Office applications.

Nice To Haves

• More than 5 years of experience in related job function.
• Prior supervisory experience.
• Experience in plywood manufacturing or other wood products industry.
