About The Position

The Quality Control Checker accurately checks or counts products for inbound and outbound freight. The role verifies that outgoing shipments are complete and correct by comparing their quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing with customer orders. The checker also reviews orders assembled by Order Selectors and reports shortages, damages, and mis-shipments.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience using computer applications, including MS Office.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and/or pull 50 lbs without restriction.
• Ability to stand and walk for continuous periods of time.
• Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of outbound orders.
• Report shortages, damages, and mis-shipments.
• Check the contents of orders as filled and assembled by Order Selectors.
• Compare shipment quantity, quality, labeling, and address with the customer order to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct.
• Perform duties as instructed by management.
