Requirements

  • Previous experience in quality control or inspection
  • Familiarity with pallet materials.
  • Proficiency in using tools and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to complete tasks within a timely manner with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand and communicate information is essential.
  • Previous experience working in an industrial, fast-paced environment with industrial equipment.
  • Previous application of quality control principles, techniques, and methodologies.
  • Lift and carry 77 lbs at least 33% of their work shift.
  • Push items with a maximum force of 31 lbs./feet.
  • Pull items with a maximum force of 31 lbs./feet.

Responsibilities

  • Lifts pallets for inspection to ensure compliance with quality, regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
  • Inspects pallets for defects, damages, and inconsistencies in materials or assembly.
  • Utilizes tools and equipment to correct minor issues and verify dimensions, weight, and other quality parameters of pallets.
  • Identifies and documents any deviations from quality standards.
  • Communicates inspection results and quality issues with production teams and supervisors.
  • Adheres to PCP standards and guidelines.
  • Partners with Quality Lead to ensure plant compliance of quality practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provides support during audits and inspections.
  • Adheres to all safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Wears appropriate Personal Protective Equipment daily.
  • Reports any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors immediately.
