Requirements

Quality Control Auditors must have hand/eye coordination and ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
Quality Control Auditors must also be able to complete task in a timely manner with a high attention to detail.
The ability to understand and communicate information is essential.
Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
MUST be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

Lifts pallets for inspection to ensure compliance with quality, regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
Inspect pallets for defects, damages, and inconsistencies in materials or assembly.
Utilize tools and equipment to correct minor issues and verify dimensions, weight, and other quality parameters of pallets.
Identify and document any deviations from quality standards.
Communicates inspections results and quality issues with production teams and supervisors.
Adheres to PCP standards and guidelines.
Partners with Quality Lead to ensure plant compliance of quality practices and continuous and improvement initiatives.
Provide support during audits and inspections.
Lift and carry 77 lbs at least 33% of their work shift.
Push items with a maximum force of 31 lbs./feet.
Pull items with a maximum force of 31 lbs./feet.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment daily.
Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors immediately.
Uses a hammer and/or saw to correct quality issues in the assembly pallets.
Quality department places pallet on rollers, lifts pallet to examine pallet, removes defective boards, and corrects nail related issues.
In an assembly department understands pallet specifications and modification necessary for customers.
Responsible for troubleshooting jams, and basic maintenance of quality control station, as well as fully versed in PCP program.
Work requires operator to stand for long periods of time.
Operators must be able to repeatedly lift a pallet weighing 50-75 lbs.
Equipment and tools must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times.
