About The Position

Own and continually improve Business Unit’s quality management systems. Responsible for overseeing the inspection processes to ensure that products meet established quality standards and customer specifications. This role includes managing the inspection team, conducting audits and implementing quality control measures to prevent defects and ensure compliance with specifications.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of quality inspection practices.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO and Quality Management Systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and leadership skills.
  • Ability to management multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to contribute in a cross-functional collaborative environment
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Responsibilities

  • Internal expert/resource on all quality systems implemented
  • Support, monitor and continually improve quality systems
  • Oversee all quality audits, maintain records of the audit, and coordinate response/closure to findings
  • Quality representative for contract review process
  • Continually monitor training system and records
  • Maintain, monitor, and report on performance against Quality Objectives
  • Coordinate the Management Review process
  • Internal expert/resource on all quality inspection practices.
  • Develop and implement inspection procedures and protocols to ensure product quality.
  • Monitor inspection processes to identify and address any deviations from quality standards.
  • Address customer complaints and quality issues promptly and effectively.
  • Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
  • Monitor customer feedback and satisfaction levels, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance inspection efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies in quality inspection.
