About The Position

DICK’S Sporting Goods is hiring a full-time Quality Control Associate for its distribution center in East Point, Georgia. The position conducts audits throughout distribution center processing and support areas to ensure accuracy and compliance. Teammates are responsible for chargebacks and capturing vendor errors. The 1C shift runs Wednesday through Saturday, 5:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The hourly rate is $18.35, plus an additional $0.50 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Willingness to be certified on equipment, based on location.
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull, and repetitively lift cartons or bins weighing up to 50 pounds.
Comfort reporting errors to a department Supervisor, including interacting and defending one's position.
Proficiency in WMS and PMMS.

Responsibilities

Verify that MHE label application meets standards.
Audit outbound processing totes for accuracy.
Complete shipping carton audits to identify correct pallet placement and store location.
Complete trailer audits.
Audit OSO packets to ensure correct paperwork is provided to Receiving.
Audit back stock locations to ensure the correct product is in each location.
Audit store-to-store transfers to ensure the correct product is being transferred.
Search the building for vendor compliance issues.
Perform other audits and duties as assigned.
Conduct audits to ensure accuracy and compliance throughout distribution center processing and support areas.
Handle chargebacks and capture vendor errors.
