Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Due to federal contract security requirements, candidates must be able to successfully pass a federal background investigation to secure and maintain DOE Q security clearance if required.
Due to federal contract security requirements, this position requires U.S. Citizenship.
Successful candidates will be able to perform the essential functions of the job with reasonable accommodation.
Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing.
Experience in mechanical assembly, quality inspection, or technical related work
Hands-on experience with precision measurement tools
Ability to read mechanical drawings and understand basic GD&T
Knowledge of assembly sequencing and fastener requirements
Familiarity with inspection plans and digital inspection tools
Ability to work independently with sound judgment
Basic understanding of calibration and measurement systems

Nice To Haves

NQA-1 and/or DOE related experience.
Active Q Clearance

Responsibilities

Perform detailed inspections at key stages of the build.
Act as the quality expert to keep production running smoothly.
Prevent defects, drive consistent quality, and support safe, compliant manufacturing operations.
Perform inspections, verify torque, and check critical dimensions using precision tools.
Apply GD&T principles.
Confirm labeling and traceability.
Ensure workmanship meets all specifications.
Maintain accurate, compliant documentation.
Identify and report defects.
Communicate findings clearly to technicians, engineers, and supervisors.
Keep tools calibrated and in good condition.
Support measurement system checks.
Ensure no assembly moves forward without proper inspection release.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
Participate in briefings.
Raise concerns proactively.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
