About The Position

The Quality Control and Safety Manager provides direction, leadership, and guidance to ensure alignment with quality policies, strategic objectives, and organizational goals that are accomplished safe, on time, and error-free. In addition, responsible for the Environmental and Safety operations of the organization.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, with 5+ years of experience in Quality Management and/or HSE (Health, Safety & Environmental)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance and base access
Working knowledge of OSHA standards and general industry safety programs required
Experience conducting quality assurance (QA) audits, safety inspections, and surveillances.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions
Strong problem-solving skills utilizing QA methodologies, tools, and best practices
Ability to read, interpret, and discuss technical drawings, specifications, and regulations applicable to federal and civilian environments
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Windows)
Strong customer service skills, including active listening, responsiveness, and follow-through
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of management, staff, and external partners
Demonstrated leadership through professionalism, accountability, and alignment with company values and operating principles
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
Practical knowledge of workplace safety, occupational hazards, and standard safety practices
Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record in accordance with company policy

Nice To Haves

Professional certification from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) in Quality Management and/or Quality Engineering preferred
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred
Experience with MAXIMO CMMS or similar computerized maintenance management systems strongly preferred
