About The Position

Utah Housing Corporation (UHC) in West Valley City is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Control Analyst to join our Legal Department. This role is key in safeguarding the integrity of our Mortgage Servicing operations by ensuring servicing practices align with internal standards as well as FHA, VA, and GSE requirements. The position contributes to a consistent, high-quality experience for the customers served. Requirements

Associate degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Three years of mortgage servicing or mortgage servicing quality control experience.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with mortgage documents and servicing regulations.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct monthly audits across the mortgage servicing lifecycle, including loan boarding, escrow administration, payoffs, default servicing, loss mitigation, bankruptcy, foreclosure, and claims.
Identify risks and strengthen processes to ensure compliance within regulatory and internal standards.
Review customer interactions to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Translate audit findings into clear, actionable insights for the Mortgage Servicing Vice President and Chief Operating Officer to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Maintain current knowledge of FHA and Conventional servicing guidelines.
Monitor customer complaints and inquiries for proper handling.
Oversee compliance with UHC's MERS Quality Assurance Plan.
Collaborate with internal teams and external providers, as needed, to complete targeted reviews.
