About The Position

Gulfstream is seeking a Senior Quality Control Analyst specializing in Return to Service (RTS). This role is crucial for ensuring aircraft airworthiness by overseeing documentation and compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and company policies. The position involves preparing, reviewing, and approving various aircraft documents, coordinating with inspection teams, and serving as a liaison with engineering and regulatory bodies like the FAA. The analyst will also be the primary contact for customers post-departure regarding maintenance documentation and compliance, ensuring the security and accuracy of all aircraft records. Additionally, this role includes training and mentoring junior analysts and contributing to the continuous improvement of QC documentation processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 6 years of airworthiness experience (14 CFR Parts 23, 25, 27, 29, 33 and/or 91, 121, 125, 135, 145) or military aviation maintenance experience.
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license required.
  • Strong knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, Advisory Circulars, FAA documentation, and aircraft records.
  • Proven expertise in aircraft logbooks, maintenance entries, and work order documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to support internal teams and external customers.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

  • Experience with foreign authority documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Return to Service (RTS) processes to ensure aircraft airworthiness in compliance with FARs and company policies.
  • Prepare, review, and approve aircraft documentation including logbook entries, FAA Form 337s, and foreign authority documentation.
  • Coordinate documentation workflows with QC Analysts and Inspection teams to support efficient RTS activities.
  • Partner with Engineering Certification and FAA on STCs, AFM Supplements, and field approvals.
  • Serve as a focal point for inspection teams and cross-functional departments on technical data and compliance requirements.
  • Support Special Flight Permits, Airworthiness Certificates, and Export Certificates.
  • Act as primary point of contact for customers post-departure regarding maintenance documentation and compliance.
  • Ensure security and accuracy of all aircraft records.
  • Train and mentor QC Analysts and QC Analyst Assistants on processes and FAA regulatory requirements.
  • Identify documentation gaps, research historical records, and resolve discrepancies impacting compliance.
  • Support continuous improvement of QC documentation processes and standards.
