About The Position

The CMM Tech is responsible for ensuring the seamless implementation of engineering changes, supplier changes, and process improvements in current production. The role focuses on risk assessment, validation, and compliance with internal quality standards and customer requirements while minimizing production disruptions.

  • Risk assessment, validation and compliance with internal quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Minimizing production disruptions.
  • Following site and global standards for engineering and supplier changes.
  • Monitoring quality metrics and performing validation testing.
  • Updating quality documentation (Control plans, FMEA, WI, etc.).
  • Meeting internal standards and external customer requirements including PPAP.
  • Monitoring quality KPI’s (internal and customer metrics).
  • Reporting to Quality Manager and organization.
  • Advanced structured problem solving using 8-Step and 8D methodology.
  • Driving down priority defects.
  • Supporting quality spill containment activities.
  • Disposition of non-conforming and unapproved material.
  • Ensuring compliance with IATF 16949, AIAG Core Tools and internal Quality Management System.
  • Responding to customer concerns related to quality using 8D methodology.
  • Supporting internal/external customer meetings and visits.

Responsibilities

  • Lead quality aspects of engineering changes and supplier changes by following site and global standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain) to assess and validate quality changes before implementation by monitoring quality metrics and performing validation testing.
  • Ensure all quality documentation (Control plans, FMEA, WI, etc.) is updated accordingly following both internal standards and external customer requirements, including PPAP.
  • Monitor quality KPIs of both internal and customer metrics by reporting to the Quality Manager and organization.
  • Lead advanced structured problem-solving using 8-Step and 8D methodology to drive down priority defects.
  • Support quality spill containment activities and disposition of both non-conforming and unapproved material according to internal and customer requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, AIAG Core Tools, and internal Quality Management System.
  • Respond to customer concerns related to quality following 8D methodology.
  • Support internal/external customer meetings and visits.
