About The Position

CGI is seeking an SDET/Quality Engineer to join our Software Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong automation testing skills across web and mobile platforms, as well as strong technical problem-solving and excellent communication skills. The preferred location for this position is Atlanta, GA but can be performed remotely from anywhere in the United States.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience in software testing and automation engineering.
  • Strong automation testing experience with tools like Playwright, Cypress, Selenium.
  • Proven ability to define, implement, and own test strategies.
  • Experience tracking and analyzing key quality metrics.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support quality engineering efforts for our client's strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain strong automation frameworks across web and mobile platforms.
  • Define and own comprehensive test strategies for the project.
  • Track and report on key quality metrics throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices within the client team.
