About The Position

This role involves performing inspections of Work In Progress (WIP) and finished products according to established sampling plans and customer specifications. The Quality Auditor will communicate non-conformances to the appropriate individuals as per documented work instructions. This position is for the day shift (7a-7p) with a rotational schedule.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of all training modules for operator assistant and QA/QC.
• Additional training requirements are identified and arrangements for the training made when needed.

Responsibilities

• Draws samples for inspection in accordance with the appropriate sampling plan.
• Inspects product in accordance to documented work instructions.
• Determines acceptability in accordance with documented customer specifications and AQL's.
• Controls nonconforming product, in accordance with documented SOP's.
• Ensures effective communication within the work team and reports any non-conformances to the appropriate individual.
• Responsible for food safety.
• Performs other designated duties of the Quality System, as assigned.
