About The Position

The Quality Auditor I ensures product quality by conducting inspections, validating specifications, and identifying defects. This role supports production by approving in-process work, evaluating incoming materials, and communicating corrective actions while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to follow instructions, prioritize work, and perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Excel, PowerPoint, Oracle).

Nice To Haves

• Experience using measurement tools (calipers, tape measure) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Approve in-process production and manage non-conforming products, including rework verification.
• Perform first article inspections and weekly testing (e.g., wall hang).
• Track and document inspection results, scrap, and audit materials.
• Communicate quality issues and corrective actions with Operations and Production teams.
• Participate in Quality, Safety, and Production meetings.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Review and approve incoming material quality as needed.
