The Quality Auditor ensures that parts comply with customer specifications and ISO requirements. This role involves utilizing measuring devices, performing basic mathematical calculations, and conducting minor product repairs. The auditor is responsible for maintaining product quality consistency and accurate identification information before shipment. They will also manage the proper labeling, inspection status, and storage of accepted products according to ISO procedures. Additional duties include processing part requisitions, entering inventory transactions, potentially dispositioning rejected parts, and performing cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. The role requires adherence to work instructions, safety procedures, and the completion of various reports. Maintaining open communication about quality issues, performing quality tests, recommending modifications to work instructions, and assisting with training are also key aspects. The auditor will initiate and follow up on ISO quality documentation and must comply with all company policies. Flexibility, adaptability, continuous learning, and a cooperative work environment are expected. The position also involves training others and performing other assigned duties.
