About The Position

The QUALITY ASSURANCE TEST TECHNICIAN is responsible for performing comprehensive testing, inspection, and troubleshooting of cable assemblies, wire harnesses, and interconnect products. This role plays a critical part in ensuring all products meet customer specifications, industry standards, and Greatlink’s high-quality requirements before shipment.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
3–5 years of hands-on experience in cable assembly, wire harness manufacturing, and testing.
Minimum 3 years of experience building, assembling, and testing high-power or high-voltage products is strongly preferred.
Strong technical proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, BOMs, assembly drawings, and manufacturing/test documentation.
Hands-on experience with common assembly hand tools, soldering stations, electrical meters, and testing equipment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly document test results and troubleshooting findings.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and workmanship.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal supervision.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and basic computer applications.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with high-voltage / high-power cable testing.

Responsibilities

Perform hands-on electrical and mechanical testing of production cable assemblies and wire harnesses according to customer drawings, specifications, and Greatlink test procedures.
Set up and operate various test equipment including network analyzers, pull testers, multimeters, hipot testers, and continuity testers.
Build, troubleshoot, and diagnose test failures on electrical and mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies.
Record accurate test data, maintain test logs, and generate inspection reports.
Identify and document non-conformances, coordinate rework with assembly teams, and verify corrective actions.
Build and maintain test fixtures and equipment as needed.
Inspect, test, and measure materials and finished products to verify conformance to requirements.
Approve finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests.
Monitor production processes and recommend improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while complying with all safety procedures and regulations.
Continuously update job knowledge through training, technical publications, and industry resources.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
