We are seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector who enjoys working as a team player, to improve and drive elements of our quality management system. This position will report to Quality Manager and will work collaboratively with other parts of the organization and team members to maximize success for Trystar and our customers. Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quality Inspector or manufacturing related or assembly field
  • Available to follow up on detailed oriented tasks and activities
  • Basic computer skills and competency with Microsoft Office
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to read basic assembly drawings, electrical schematics, and mechanical blueprints.
  • Basic experience of electronics, mechanical assembly and fabrication
  • Competency in the use of basic measurement tools, measuring tape, ruler, micrometers, gages, calipers, digital multimeters
  • Demonstrate the ability to pay close attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be proficient in reading, speaking and writing in English and Spanish for the purpose of record keeping, quality training processes, feedback and communication to production line

  • Strong communications skills with excellent teamwork skills to resolve issues/concerns
  • Analytical and computer skills Microsoft 365 preferable
  • Experience with Epicor ERP / MRP or similar
  • Experience with 5S and Lean principles desired but not required

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate Trystar’s guiding principles and values.
  • Perform product inspections and evaluation, incoming quality, in process checks EOL end of line, pre-shipping inspections
  • Provide feedback on findings to operations, coach, train, lead meetings with assemblers, transferring feedback, communicate quality alerts and customer feedback to production lines
  • Documenting inspection reports, test records, inspection checklists, quality alerts and quality related documentation
  • Support nonconformance process.
  • Routing product for rework or repair.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the work area, ensure all equipment is in safe working condition.
  • Support quality departments initiatives
