About The Position

The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for preparing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures. This role involves performing routine inspections and quality tests, identifying and resolving workflow and production issues, and developing quality standards. The technician will ensure that standards and safety regulations are observed, address issues with superiors, and document quality assurance activities. They will also create training materials and operating manuals, assist with nonconformance Return Material Authorization (RMA) investigations, and conduct customer-specific quality control and testing. The position requires strong data collection and analysis skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to quality improvement.

Responsibilities

Preparing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures.
Performing routine inspections and quality tests.
Identifying and resolving workflow and production issues.
Developing quality standards, conducting tests, and identifying issues in the production of our products or services.
Ensure that standards and safety regulations are observed.
Address and discuss issues and proposed solutions with superiors.
Document quality assurance activities and create audit reports.
Make recommendations for improvement.
Create training materials and operating manuals.
Exhibits thoroughness and consistency when conducting quality control, testing, and audits.
Is proactive in non-conformance prevention and maintains a desire to help the organization to consistently achieve high quality and service expectations.
Assists with nonconformance Return Material Authorization (RMA) investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Assists in updating RMAs in the ERP system when requested by a manager.
Attends scheduled meetings and training sessions as needed to support quality control activities and employee development.
Conducts customer-specific, routine quality control and testing as identified on production tickets and checklists.
Conducts testing and collects production performance data as needed in support of non-routine quality control checks.
Cultivate and ensure effective relationships and communications with all departments within Resource Label Group to ensure the highest level of technical service is achieved.
