About The Position
Thomson Power Systems is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated QA Technician – Level 1 to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with foundational experience in a manufacturing or technical environment who is looking to build a career in quality assurance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or technical support role
- Good computer skills with proficiency in MS Excel and Word
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail
- Confidence in judgment and decision-making
- Team player with emotional regulation and reliability
- Strong communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Ability to follow instructions
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with SAP is a plus
Responsibilities
- Conduct basic visual inspections of products to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Perform administrative QA tasks including documentation and data entry
- Process non-conformance materials and support finished product inspections
- Calibrate equipment and maintain accurate records
- Enter QA transactions in SAP with guidance
- Use Microsoft Excel and Word to complete QA reports
- Collaborate with internal teams to support production goals
- Apply sound judgment in quality-related decisions
