About The Position

The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for performing manual/automated tests, maintaining calibrated equipment, and ensuring industry regulations are abided by the company and customers. This individual will comply with provincial and federal legislation, company and health & safety policies and AITF & ISO Quality program and procedures.

Requirements

  • Certificate of completion for Quality Core Tools (APQP, PAPP, FMEA, MSA, SPC)
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Experience with writing and enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Proficient in computers with the ability to use various computer applications such as Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Extensive knowledge of automated testing software
  • Experience enforcing SOP and product specifications
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of arithmetic, geometry, and their applications
  • High attention to detail with the capable solving problems
  • Capable of operating heavy equipment such as a forklift and crane
