About The Position

The Quality Assurance Technician position at Wolverine Packing requires an individual who can uphold quality standards by performing high-level quality control inspections and verifications of processes. An ideal candidate would be someone who possesses great attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Be available to work/lead pre-operational sanitation (4:30am start time)
• Excellent time management and task prioritization abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Be detailed and organized.
• Strong attention to detail; data and sample collection, accuracy in paperwork.
• Good decision making and reasoning skills.
• Ability to interact with all levels of organization.
• Be able to monitor all areas of facility, including pens/processing floor.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with production on regulatory and quality issues, and document corrective actions, root cause, and preventative actions.
• Ensure GMPs are being followed.
• Ensure package/label integrity and accuracy.
• Maintain product specification.
• The ability to work 100% on plant floor.
• Monitoring and implementation of HACCP system activities in the Quality Assurance Department.
