Requirements

  • Previous quality experience required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of working ISO and SQF procedures

Responsibilities

  • Check quality of the product per spot-check schedule
  • Assure QC performed to Quality Technicians standards
  • Be familiar with all ISO and SQF procedures/ instructions related to the quality assurance function
  • Perform entrance control of critical part
  • Ensure that production is notified about any problems or potential problems as soon as possible and that the correct documentation is filled out
  • Inform production about continuing quality problems and ensure it is verified and documented that the quality is again acceptable once the responsible production department verifies that the problem has been corrected
  • Manage the process of putting products "on hold": and ensure all products are correctly marked. In case of on-going quality problems, ensure product is being put on hold until problem has been corrected.
  • Assist quality manager and quality assurance supervisor in maintaining the laboratory collection of samples to be used for quality tests.
  • Perform article tests
  • Maintain required quality records
  • Maintain laboratory equipment
  • Safety and Housekeeping
  • Assist in training others as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
