About The Position
The Quality Assurance Technician serves as the primary quality representative on the production floor. This role performs inspections, audits, and supports investigations to ensure products meet quality standards. The position works closely with Production, Quality Systems, and Management to address issues and maintain compliance.
Requirements
- Experience with inspections or audits in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working directly with production teams
- Willingness to pursue IATF Internal Auditor qualification
- Drug Test Required & Background Check
- High school diploma required
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree or technical training preferred
Responsibilities
- Serve as the quality point of contact on the production floor
- Perform Receiving Inspections
- Conduct Product Audits and Layered Process Audits (LPA)
- Monitor daily defects and participate in production meetings
- Support investigations, containment, and corrective actions
- Verify training completion and corrective action effectiveness
- Escalate high-risk or recurring quality issues
