The Quality Assurance Technician will be responsible for programming and operating 3D AOI/SPI systems, assisting inspectors, importing data, creating programs, and maintaining the AOI package library. This role involves working with engineering and equipment manufacturers to enhance AOI/SPI & x-ray accuracy, obtaining and retaining IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certifications, and operating X-ray machines. The technician will perform first article inspections, provide prompt feedback, and maintain machines through preventative maintenance. Key responsibilities also include meeting production requirements by understanding Fusion documentation, passing component identification quizzes, operating in-line washers, and performing accurate in-process inspections. The role requires adherence to quality levels and production standards, following QMS procedures, and updating procedures and work instructions as needed. Additionally, the technician will act as a role model for safety, ESD, ITAR, and QMS, participate in Lean activities, use the MES for tracking, maintain 5S standards, and strive for waste reduction.
