About The Position

Entegris is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Technician I for our Decatur, TX facility. In this role, you will conduct quality inspections of machined parts.

Requirements

High school education or GED equivalency.
Good aptitude working in a precision machine shop.
Sound understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and interpreting drawings.
Ability to perform visual checks and handle materials responsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Work any shift as required to meet business needs.
Able to safely lift 50 pounds.
Able to pass pre-employment physical.
Candidate must have the capacity to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws.

Nice To Haves

Experience using machine shop metrology and test equipment (MT&E) including but not limited to calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, profilometers, and coordinate measurement machines (CMM’s) is a plus.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
Astute attention to detail to drive Safety and Quality.
Experience in working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform dimensional and visual inspections on first article and last article production parts, including AS9102 FAIR’s (first article inspection reports).
Prevent defective, non-conforming parts from reaching the customer.
Document non-conforming material and give feedback to the individuals for root cause and corrective action.
Review manufacturing records and prepare certificates of conformance (CoC) and dimensional inspection (CofD).
Retrieve gages for calibration.
Perform Quality audits to ISO9001:2015/AS9100D and in-process audits, prepare associated reports, and follow-up on findings.
Perform Measurement System Analyses (MSA).
