About The Position

Ste. Michelle Wine Estates is currently seeking highly qualified candidates for a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at Columbia Crest Winery located in Paterson, WA. This position is responsible for the maintenance of quality improvement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and material specifications through testing and inspection. These procedures and specifications are designed to ensure Ste. Michelle Wine Estates maintains a high-quality standard for its products and adheres to all applicable regulatory standards. This role requires a monthly rotating schedule which will include a morning, mid and night shift. Ste. Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must Possess a Valid Drivers License.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in the wine, food, or beverage industry.
  • Ability to work in a self-directed team environment.
  • We follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in our production facilities. You will be required to follow all GMP and Safety requirements.
  • History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or two years of college coursework in a science discipline (chemistry, biochemistry, or related science field) preferred.
  • Able to meet flexible schedule requirements. This role maintains a monthly rotational schedule.
  • Analytical laboratory experience with a background in the operation of laboratory instrument systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect in-process and post-process packaged goods and provide prompt and accurate feedback to the bottling supervisor and line personnel.
  • Perform physical stability tests on finished wines.
  • Maintain accurate/current packaging and bottling-related records.
  • Maintain quality assurance records and workstation records.
  • Record and report analytical results.
