This individual is responsible for all QA and Lab functionality including Inspections, Testing, Internal Audits, Document Control, and KPI’s. Requirements

High School Diploma.
1-2 years of experience in a laboratory or test setting.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 17025.
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Excellent communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Administer and be able to perform testing parameters as outlined in: ANSI Z87.1, MIL-PRF-32432, MCEPS (Ballistics)
Monitor and enhance company and laboratory processes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documents and records including procedures, process controls, corrective action, KPI’s, quality control data, etc.
Suggest and implement improvements based on available data.
Follow up on areas that are missing targets.
Perform and document product inspections at various stages, i.e.: Inline, Incoming, etc.
Maintain appropriate scrap records/KPI’s and monitor performance.
Conduct Lot Acceptance Testing (LAT), including sampling.
Maintain nonconforming product process and disposition products as required.
