As a Quality Assurance (QA) Technician (3rd Shift), you will play a key role in supporting all quality and food safety aspects of production. You’ll work directly on the production floor, performing pre-operational inspections, verifying sanitation and GMP compliance, supporting production activities, and ensuring product quality standards are consistently met. You will provide hands-on support to the factory, helping identify and escalate any safety or quality concerns while contributing to the delivery of safe, high-quality products.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, quality control, production, or operations environment
  • Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens
  • Flexible to work overtime, irregular hours, or rotating shifts based on business needs
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand or move throughout the shift
  • Basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures. (Spanish/English bilingual is a plus)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with systems like SAP, DMO, Pegasus, Neogen ATP readers is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-process testing and QA inspections
  • Conduct daily pre-operational and changeover checks
  • Follow safety rules (e.g., Lock Out Tag Out [LOTO]) , Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company policies
  • Conduct daily floor walks to Monitor production personnel for GMP compliance
  • Communicate/escalate safety, sanitation, or product issues to Line Leadership Team
  • Participate in product evaluations to ensure top quality
  • Perform other duties as assigned
