As a Quality Assurance (QA) Technician (3rd Shift), you will play a key role in supporting all quality and food safety aspects of production. You’ll work directly on the production floor, performing pre-operational inspections, verifying sanitation and GMP compliance, supporting production activities, and ensuring product quality standards are consistently met. You will provide hands-on support to the factory, helping identify and escalate any safety or quality concerns while contributing to the delivery of safe, high-quality products.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED
1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, quality control, production, or operations environment
Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens
Flexible to work overtime, irregular hours, or rotating shifts based on business needs
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand or move throughout the shift
Basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures. (Spanish/English bilingual is a plus)

Nice To Haves

Experience with systems like SAP, DMO, Pegasus, Neogen ATP readers is preferred

Responsibilities

Perform in-process testing and QA inspections
Conduct daily pre-operational and changeover checks
Follow safety rules (e.g., Lock Out Tag Out [LOTO]) , Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company policies
Conduct daily floor walks to Monitor production personnel for GMP compliance
Communicate/escalate safety, sanitation, or product issues to Line Leadership Team
Participate in product evaluations to ensure top quality
Perform other duties as assigned
