Summary Join our team as a Food Safety & Quality Assurance Associate and help protect the integrity of every product we make! In this critical role, you’ll monitor production processes to ensure our products consistently meet the highest standards of quality and food safety. You’ll play a key part in maintaining compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standards, making a direct impact on customer trust and plant performance. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years’ work experience.
  • Good communication (both oral and written) and math skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in food quality and/or safety.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure products meet internal and customer specifications and take appropriate action when a non-compliance is noted.
  • Accurately conduct product reviews for compliance to include grading, packaging and weights.
  • Perform and accurately record quality checks on products and regulatory checks as specified within company programs and USDA regulations.
  • Monitor associates' work practices and addresses any deficiencies noticed immediately while continually evaluating potential for foreign material contamination while in assigned work areas.
  • Inspect equipment for cleanliness and proper working conditions prior to start up and record findings.
