About The Position

The Quality Assurance Tech performs production tasks in a clean, climate-controlled environment. The role includes inspecting and repairing components, sub-assemblies, and finished products, as well as packaging products. It is an integral part of Lokar’s success.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds as necessary.
• Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently.
• Hand strength for using hand-cutting tools and various fastening tools.
• Ability to prioritize, plan, and execute.

Nice To Haves

• Quality assurance experience.
• Manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products according to directions and specifications.
• Complete assigned work tasks.
• Report quality, process, equipment, and material problems to the Quality Manager.
• Complete quality documentation.
• Work safely and maintain a clean work area by complying with procedures, rules, and company policies.
• Participate in cross-training by learning and teaching tasks and positions already known.
• Complete repairs as necessary.
• Perform other duties or tasks as assigned on an as-needed basis.
