Requirements

  • High School or equivalent required.
  • Proficient in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and CAD models.
  • Familiar with design and inspection software utilization (CAD, Polyworks, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of SAP transactions related to quality, iBase, and inventory.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the Quality Assurance Supervisor is regularly required to use hands to manipulate or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • The job can require prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, and reaching with hands and arms.
  • This role must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or bachelor's degree in manufacturing technology, nondestructive testing, or equivalent technical area of study preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy quality processes and standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and process documentation to comply with organizational standards.
  • Direct daily activities of the quality inspectors (assembly, receiving, finished goods).
  • Interviewing, Training, Appraising Performance, and resolving issues of the quality inspectors.
  • Support receiving, finishing, and weld teams to ensure a reliable supply of conforming components to production to meet build requirements.
  • Partner with and advise design engineering, vendors and suppliers on matters concerning dimensioning/tolerancing as they relate to finished goods quality.
