About The Position

Radial Solutions Inc., (RSi) is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to support the U.S. Army customer on the Ft. Moore Aviation and Maintenance Logistics contract for the Army Ranger School at Ft. Benning, GA. This role will assist the Quality Assurance Manager in maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) and the AS 9100D Certification. The position involves ensuring site compliance with the QMS and the AS 9100D standard, conducting internal audits, preparing reports on quality issues and recommendations, managing document control, and using root cause analysis for preventative measures. The specialist will also respond to external Corrective Action Requests and must obtain an approved AS 9100D internal auditor certification within one year of employment. Additional duties may be assigned by the Training Coordinator.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of aviation related Quality Control or Quality Assurance experience, of which at least 1 year shall be commensurate with the position assigned
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems-Requirements, SAE-AS 9100 Quality Management Systems-Aerospace Requirements, or other DoD approved quality system single process initiative (SPI)

Nice To Haves

• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Certification or Lead Auditor Certification
• AS 9100D Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor Certification
• Knowledge of AR 95-20 (DCMA-INST 8210-D)

Responsibilities

• Works to ensure site remains compliant with the QMS
• Ensure the QMS remains in compliance with the AS 9100D standard
• Conducting internal program audits, as assigned
• Preparing detailed reports on quality issues, corrective actions, and improvement recommendations to relevant stakeholders
• Responsible for Document Control
• Uses root cause analysis techniques to implement preventative measures
• Responding to external Corrective Action Requests
• Must obtain an approved AS 9100D internal auditor certification within one year of employment starting
• Perform additional duties as prescribed by the contract Training Coordinator
