About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: The Level I Quality Assurance Specialist is an entry-level position responsible for reviewing retail finance contracts prior to customer signature. The role ensures accuracy in contract terms, rates, backend products, and applicable fees. Working under general supervision, this position supports faster funding, reduces errors and rework, and improves the customer experience. It serves as an excellent entry point into the finance, compliance, or dealership operations environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Performs basic reviews of finance contracts to ensure correct application of rate, term, backend products, and UCC fees before submission to funding. Identifies and flags simple discrepancies that could delay funding or require re-contracting. Works with dealership personnel to resolve minor errors in a timely manner. Maintains accurate review logs and quality checklists for tracking common errors. Escalates complex compliance or pricing issues to Level II or Management for resolution. Participates in training and mentorship sessions to build knowledge of financing programs, regulations, and contract structure. Creates and updates guide manual for dealership contracting Collaborates with IT to create/enhance WRX funding platform ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree Preferred Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field (if applicable) Years of experience: 0–2 years (Internship or part-time experience in finance, compliance, or quality roles is a plus) KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY: Foundational understanding of financial documents and terminology Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Clear written and verbal communication Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Receptive to coaching and eager to grow in compliance and contract operations TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Rarely – may include occasional visits to TMBC dealerships or local retail store for training or process improvement meetings. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Regularly sits and does computer work. Seldom/Never walks, stands or lifts up to 50 lbs. INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT : Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices. Requirements
