The Quality Assurance Specialist I will support regulatory inspections and audits, manage quality systems, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. This role involves planning and presenting quality system information, initiating and approving change controls, deviations, and recalls. The specialist will also participate in internal and external audits, review product-specific paperwork, and assist operations teams in identifying root causes of discrepancies and developing corrective actions. Responsibilities include revising SOPs and WIs for process enhancement, performing Gemba walks applying Six Sigma concepts, and participating in cross-functional initiatives within a 3PL environment. The role requires strong leadership and logistics knowledge, professional communication with clients, and assistance with returns and damages processes. Additionally, the specialist will perform record reviews, participate in after-hours ISM rotation programs, assist in validation projects, and be on call for WebCTRL temperature monitoring, including generating and reviewing monthly temperature reports.
