What You’ll Do: As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will review ag underwriting files to compare staff handling procedures to industry and company best practice guidelines. You will also identify training needs, mentoring opportunities and process enhancements opportunities that can impact coverage, loss ratio, and underwriting expenses.

Requirements

College degree or equivalent plus at least five years underwriting experience or equivalent work experience required with a broad background in property, casualty insurance.
Must keep current with new underwriting technologies/systems.
Must keep up to date regarding legislation, statutes, rules/regulations, and case law for all eight states.
A valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Records are required.
Some travel is required (including overnight).

AIC, API, or AU designation preferred.
