About The Position

oneZero Financial Systems is hiring a Quality Assurance SDET Engineer for its Somerville office. The company provides trade routing and execution technology for banks, brokerages, and hedge funds, with a platform deployed at more than 200 entities globally. The role focuses on end-user needs and ensuring complex product features and business workflows work reliably and intuitively in real-world use. The SDET supports quality throughout agentic AI-assisted code delivery by helping define clear requirements, user personas, and workflows; creating effective tests and guardrails; and independently validating behavior, compatibility, usability, and performance before release. The position works across the testing pyramid, improves application testability, and partners with engineering and product teams to identify risks early and deliver high-quality experiences. The successful candidate will champion quality practices, develop and maintain automation and test frameworks, apply AI-assisted automation alongside BDD and TDD practices, and contribute to Agile team delivery. The role also calls for finance-domain knowledge and participation in production troubleshooting with supervision. The stated salary range is $95,000 to $122,000, depending on relevant experience.
