This role is for a Quality Assurance Review and Control Specialist in Markham, Ontario, Canada. The position involves supporting the end-to-end development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Quality Assurance procedures, resources, and communications. The specialist will perform secondary-level quality reviews, apply critical thinking and data analysis to validate process alignment, and identify/implement process improvements. They will act as a Quality Assurance subject matter expert (SME), supporting the design and implementation of scalable solutions, assessing support requests, troubleshooting issues, and recommending solutions. The role also includes coordinating QA and compliance activities, supporting leadership with trend analysis and reporting, and leveraging tools like Power BI, Power Automate, and SQL. The specialist will adapt to new tools and technologies, serve as an escalation point for complex issues, and foster a positive work environment. Additionally, the role supports customer support governance and control objectives, participates in regulatory intake and impact assessments, reviews processes and controls to identify gaps and risks, and leads or supports the implementation of policy and procedural changes. The role also involves monitoring emerging trends to enhance the quality, governance, and control environment.
