About The Position
US Foods is seeking a Quality Assurance Repacker to join their team. This role is crucial for reducing inventory shrink and improving warehouse organization. The company offers opportunities for growth, excellent training, and a continuous improvement focus. The position is Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, with a pay rate of $25.01/hour. US Foods is a leading foodservice distributor committed to supporting its employees.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
- Ability to work independently.
- Safely operate electric pallet jack.
- Good communication skills – written and oral.
- Working knowledge of Excel.
- Must be dependable.
Nice To Haves
- Warehouse experience/foodservice product & processes knowledge preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with reducing inventory shrink and improving warehouse organization
- Evaluate damaged product for disposition (repack for sale, salvage, dump)
- Repack damaged product determined to be saleable.
- Record proper information on repackaged product (lot #, date, etc.) whether for sale or salvage.
- Properly record all dumped product.
- Assist with tracking of dated products to minimize product lost due to date issues.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Other duties as assigned.
