About The Position

This position oversees compliance to the policies, procedures, and work instructions contained in the quality management system. The Quality Assurance Representative (QAR) is responsible for exercising the disposition of material placed in the "Material Review Bay" and serves as a resource to Plant personnel, training them on quality system documents and record keeping duties to ensure compliance with system requirements. Key accountabilities include document and data control oversight, ownership and maintenance of measurement devices, managing corrective and preventive actions, overseeing quality records, process auditing for compliance, and implementing statistical control of equipment and processes. The QAR is also responsible for accurate information and timely processing of non-conforming material and ensuring proper records are maintained for gages, nonconforming material, inspection forms, and stamp logs.

Requirements

Good written and verbal skills.
Detail oriented to the requirements of our Quality Management System.
Rudimentary computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Exposure to a fast paced warehouse environment.
Comfortable with short task completion expectations.
Ability to work with a diversified work force.
Ability to effectively interact with Plant Operations Supervisors and Managers.

Formal quality training.
ASQ certification.
3 years Quality Assurance/Control experience.
Experience or training in ISO9001:2015 or AS9100 quality standards.

Responsibilities
