Quality Assurance Receiving Inspector

We are currently searching for an exceptional Quality Assurance Receiving Inspector II to join our team in Corona, CA. The Quality Assurance Receiving Inspector II will provide complete guitar inspection which also includes, but is not limited to, some troubleshooting, the generation of quality alerts, and checking for possible mechanical or cosmetic defects. Will also make minor repairs and fine tune guitars according to company specifications.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of quality control experience
- 3 years of experience with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, ring, pin, and thread gages among others
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and effective communication skills
- Proficiency in using measurement equipment
- Computer skills in SAP, Back Stage (Microsoft Office experience is a plus)
- Ability to read drawings and follow verbal and written instructions
- Safety focused individual, always wears PPE, documents safety concerns asks for assistance from EHS as needed

Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming materials, including metal, electronics, plastics, and wood components
- Maintain records of inspections performed and the results obtained
- Perform First Article inspections per specific instructions as required
- Determine inspection needs using collected data
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to expedite urgent inspections
- Report major issues to relevant departments
- Participate in the MRB process
- Adapt to changes and perform assigned duties
- Report safety concerns and seek assistance when necessary
- Assist in improving inspection plans based on experience
- Welcoming frequent changes productively and performing other essential duties in and around the receiving inspection area as assigned
